A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Nearshore and open waters of Lake Michigan from Manistee to
  Point Betsie MI...

At 632 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 21 nm northwest of Big Sable
Point Light to 12 nm east of Little Sable Point Light, moving north
at 45 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Portage Lake, Williamsport, Manistee, Arcadia, Frankfort, and
Pierport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
