A cold front will continue to push south across the Northern
Plains tonight. Expect overnight lows in the 20s over northern and
western portions of the region, with 30s from eastern South Dakota
into southern Minnesota. Other than a little light rain or light
snow across far northern Minnesota, tonight will be dry. After a
rather windy and mild day Friday, look for breezy to windy
conditions to continue Saturday, especially over the eastern
Dakotas and Minnesota. Temperatures will cool over the weekend
with highs in the 30s Northeast to lower 50s south and west on
Saturday, and then 20s northeast to 40s southwest on Sunday.
Overnight lows each day will be in the teens and 20s. Dry
conditions are expected to continue through the weekend. Warmer
temperatures return to start the upcoming work week, with cooling
temperatures and a more active weather pattern mid to late week.
