A warm day is expected over the region today, with highs around 10
to 20 degrees above average. A weak disturbance will push through
northern portions of the area late this afternoon through tonight.
This may bring a little light rain, possibly some freezing rain
overnight as temperatures drop below freezing.

A modest cooling trend is expected Wednesday through Thursday,
with rain likely over portions of South Dakota and into southern
Minnesota. A brief warm-up is expected Friday before a clipper
system dives through the area. This will bring precipitation
chances mainly to eastern portions of the region late Friday into
Saturday, along with a cooling trend through the weekend.
