...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South
Carolina...

  North Fork Edisto River At Orangeburg affecting Orangeburg County

.Recent rainfall will result in high stages along the North Fork
of the Edisto River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to noaa weather radio...
local media or the internet for further statements and updated
forecasts.

The Flood Warning extended for
  The North Fork of Edisto River At Orangeburg.
* Through Monday evening...Or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At 9 PM Thursday the stage was 7.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river at Orangeburg will crest around
  8.2 feet Saturday morning.
* At 8 feet...Some minor flooding occurs along the boardwalk at
  Edisto Gardens. Downstream from the Highway 301 bridge...some roads
  off Chiquita street near the river begin to flood.
