...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM EARLY THIS MORNING TO
1 AM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 kt with a few gusts up to 50 kt and
  seas 11 to 16 ft expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Eastport, ME to Schoodic Point, ME
  out 25 NM, Coastal Waters from Schoodic Point, ME to
  Stonington, ME out 25 NM and Intra Coastal Waters from
  Schoodic Point, ME to Stonington, ME.

* WHEN...From 5 AM early this morning to 1 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
