Fire Weather Planning Forecast For NE Kansas/NW Missouri
National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO
343 PM CDT Mon Apr 15 2024

.DISCUSSION...

There could be a period of elevated fire weather conditions
tomorrow afternoon after the passage of a cold front as RH values
should drop to near critical thresholds with SW winds on the order
of 20 to 30 mph and gusts up to 40 mph, primarily over eastern KS
into far western MO. However, widespread wetting rains tomorrow
morning and recent greenup should temper fire weather concerns.
