.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure offshore is
producing a summer-like pattern this week. Gusty north winds continue
to produce steep seas in all coastal waters, especially downwind of
Cape Mendocino. The sea state will continue to be dominated by steep
short period northerly wind waves and a series of mid-to- long
period NW swells through Thursday. A low pressure system approaching
from the northwest will produce unsettled conditions late week into
the weekend.
