...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of DeWitt, southeastern
Gonzales and southwestern Lavaca Counties through 1045 PM CDT...

At 953 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hochheim, or near Shiner, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Cuero, Yoakum, Yorktown, Nordheim, Thomaston, Hochheim, Cheapside,
Westhoff, Cotton Patch, Edgar, Gruenau, Terryville, New Davy, Sample,
Glaze City, Meyersville, Dreyer, Arneckville, Hamon, and Concrete.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central Texas.
