The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Fannin County in north central Texas...

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 430 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain across the
  warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
  flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Bonham, Leonard, Honey Grove, Whitewright, Savoy, Ector, Trenton,
  Dodd City, Bonham State Park, Lake Bonham, Randolph, Valley Lake,
  Boyd, Ladonia, Bailey, Pecan Gap, Windom, Cotton Center, Gober and
  Lannius.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
