This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Strong to severe thunderstorms will become possible late
overnight, generally after 3AM, and mainly for areas along and
south of the Nebraska, Kansas state line. The primary severe
threat will be large hail up to golf ball size.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible
Thursday night, particularly for areas along and south of
Interstate 80. Large hail looks to be the primary threat with this
activity, though damaging wind gusts and a tornado or two can`t be
ruled out along and south of the state line.

Additional off and on thunderstorms are possible Friday into
Friday night, and Saturday evening into Sunday. The overall-
greatest severe threat Friday into the weekend will likely remain
over the Southern Plains into the Mid Mississippi River Valley,
though portions of the outlook area mainly east and southeast of
the Tri- Cities have a non- zero chance for mainly marginally
severe hail Friday afternoon and again Saturday evening and
overnight.

Non-thunderstorm west to southwest wind gusts of 40 to 45 MPH will
be possible Friday afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report any instances of severe weather
that may develop late tonight.
