Outside the chance for a few showers sliding through the area
Wednesday afternoon...the forecast for the rest of this week remains
dry...with temperatures on the rise. Otherwise expect partly cloudy
skies for Wednesday...with breezy northwest winds gusting near 30
MPH. High temperatures are expected to climb into the mid 60s to low
70s. A passing cold front will usher in cooler temperatures and a
reinforcing shot of gusty northwesterly winds for Thursday. High
temperatures top out in the upper 50s to mid 60s...with northwest
winds gusting near 45 MPH in portions of the area. There will be the
potential for near critical to critical fire weather conditions
across the entire area...and a Fire Weather Watch is in effect.
Winds switch to the south to southwest for Friday and
Saturday...with Saturday the breezier of the two days...with gusts
near 30 MPH again possible. High temperatures climb each day...with
mid 60s to mid 70s expected for Friday and low to mid 80s expected
for Saturday.
