...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MONTEZUMA COUNTY
THROUGH 245 PM MDT...

At 212 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southwest of Cortez, or 34 miles north of Shiprock, moving east
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cortez and Towaoc.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 491 in Colorado between mile markers 27 and 31.
 U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 21 and 44.
 Colorado 145 between mile markers 1 and 3.
