...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following counties in central Ohio, Fairfield, Hocking
  and Pickaway.

* WHEN...Until 530 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 223 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Lancaster, Bremen, Hide-A-Way Hills, Royalton, Lithopolis,
    Amanda, Carroll, Sugar Grove, Rushville, West Rushville, US
    Route 22 at State Route 159, Fairfield County Airport,
    Dumontville, Clearport, North Berne, Hideaway Hills, State
    Route 674 at State Route 188, Slate Run Metro Park and East
    Ringgold.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

To report flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and submit
your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
