...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN BROWN AND BARTHOLOMEW COUNTIES...
At 1129 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southeast
of Nashville, or 9 miles west of Columbus, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Nashville, Edinburgh, Hope, Elizabethtown, Hartsville,
Clifford, Newbern, Gnaw Bone, Grammer, Azalia, Stone Head, Story, and
Taylorsville.
This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 60 and 78.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for central and
south central Indiana. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until
100 AM EDT for central and southeastern Indiana.
