...The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...

  Salamonie River below Warren affecting Jay, Wabash, Huntington,
  Blackford and Wells Counties.

For the Salamonie River...including Warren, Portland...Moderate
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Salamonie River below Warren.

* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, The river reaches flood stage with minor
  flooding of low agricultural land and roads nearest the river.
  Belleville Road and East Flowing Well Road northwest of Warren
  become impassable and isolated nearby residences.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 11.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early this
    morning to 12.1 feet. It will fall below flood stage late
    this morning but then rise above flood stage again to 12.1
    feet late tonight into Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
