...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN GRANT AND
NORTHEASTERN GARDEN COUNTIES THROUGH 700 AM MDT...

At 623 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles southwest of Ashby, or 30 miles northwest of Arthur, moving
east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dominick Lake, Kincaid Lake, and Swede Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 AM MDT for
the Panhandle of and west central Nebraska.
