  Southeastern St. Martin Parish in south central Louisiana...

* Until 900 AM CDT.

* At 829 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sorrel, or
  near Jeanerette, moving east at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Franklin, Patterson, Jeanerette, Bayou Vista, Baldwin, Sorrel,
  Patterson Memorial Airport, Glencoe, Lake Fausse Pointe, Charenton,
  and Centerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
