For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.00 inches, briefly builds over the
central Great Lakes today. Another weak cold front, 29.80 inches,
then sags south through the area late tonight into Friday
bringing widespread showers and a couple thunderstorms. Cooler,
moderate west-northwest flow sets up for the weekend.

.TONIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the southeast in
the late evening and early morning...then becoming light and
variable early in the morning. Showers after midnight. Waves
2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots becoming west 10 to 15 knots
in the late morning and early afternoon...then increasing to
15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots late in the
afternoon. Showers in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less building
to 2 to 4 feet in the afternoon.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and early morning...then increasing
to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to
2 to 4 feet after midnight.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots. Waves 4 to 6 feet building
to 6 to 9 feet early in the afternoon. Waves occasionally around
12 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to
15 knots in the late evening and overnight. Waves 5 to 7 feet.
Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots
becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots late in the evening. Waves 2 to
4 feet.
.MONDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south 10 to 15 knots
until early evening...then decreasing to 5 to 10 knots in the
late evening and early morning. A chance of. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TUESDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots backing to the east until
early evening...then becoming north 15 to 20 knots in the late
evening and early morning. A chance of showers early in the
morning...then showers likely until early evening. Waves 1 to
3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet until early morning.
