THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN GASCONADE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI...
  SOUTHWESTERN FRANKLIN COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI...
  NORTHERN CRAWFORD COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI...

* UNTIL 1115 PM CDT

* AT 815 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
  HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. UP TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
  ALREADY FALLEN. FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  SULLIVAN...CUBA...BOURBON...LEASBURG...ST. CLOUD...CANAAN...
  OAK HILL...NOSER MILL...JAPAN AND STANTON.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 2 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE AS
ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS MOVE ACROSS THE WARNED AREA.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 44 IN MISSOURI BETWEEN EXITS 203 AND 230.

THIS ALSO INCLUDES ONONDAGA CAVE STATE PARK AND MERAMEC STATE PARK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.
