Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern/Central MO and Southwest IL
National Weather Service Saint Louis MO
428 AM CDT Sun Apr 23 2017

.DISCUSSION...
There will be a heightened fire danger today because of a combination
of low relative humidity, gusty northeast winds, and dry fuels over
parts of south central and southwest Illinois. The wind will turn
light and variable tonight as high pressure moves across the area
tonight. Winds will turn out of the south tomorrow, and there will
be an heightened fire danger over northeast Missouri and west central
Illinois. A cold front will move through the area on Tuesday night
and Wednesday bringing the next chance of showers and thunderstorms.
The chance of rain will continue into the weekend.
