Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern/Central MO and Southwest IL
National Weather Service Saint Louis MO
430 AM CST Mon Nov 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...
South or southwest winds of 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts can be expected
today with a surface ridge over the Tennessee Valley region. The afternoon
relative humidity will be quite low today, down to around 25 percent across
central Missouri. Dry fuels, relatively warm temperatures, sustained
winds of 10 to 15 mph, and low relative humidity values will lead to
heightened fire danger along and west of the Mississippi River. A cold
front will drop southeastward through our area on Tuesday leading to colder
conditions Tuesday night, but no precipitation is expected with this
front.
