Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern/Central MO and Southwest IL
National Weather Service Saint Louis MO
452 AM CST Fri Feb 24 2017

.DISCUSSION...
A strong cold front will move across the area today. There is a threat
of a few showers or thunderstorms ahead of the advancing cold front,
while gusty west and northwest winds in the wake of the front will
usher much colder air into the region. Gusty northwest winds and
lower humidity will contribute to heightened fire danger for parts
of central Missouri on Saturday afternoon. Temperatures will begin
moderating on Sunday, and the weather pattern will get a bit active
as well. The first in a series of weather systems will bring a
chance of rain on Sunday and Sunday evening. This will be followed
by another system and chance of rain monday afternoon and night.
