FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN/CENTRAL MO AND SOUTHWEST IL
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ST LOUIS MO
1137 AM CDT MON MAR 30 2015

.DISCUSSION...

HIGH PRESSURE WILL PASS FROM NORTHWESTERN ARKANSAS TO THE TENNESSEE
VALLEY TODAY ALLOWING SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS TO DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON.
THERE WILL BE A HEIGHTENED FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON...PRIMARILY FOR
PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS WHERE FUEL
MOISTURE OF LESS THAN 10 PERCENT WILL COMBINE WITH RELATIVE HUMIDITY
VALUES BELOW 30 PERCENT AND A SOUTHWEST BREEZE OF 12-15MPH. A WEAK
COLD FRONT WILL SLIDE THROUGH THE AREA TUESDAY BRINGING A SLIGHT
INCREASE IN MOISTURE RESULTING IN HIGHER RELATIVE HUMIDITY LEVELS.
WINDS WILL TURN NORTHERLY BEHIND THE FRONT.
