Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern/Central MO and Southwest IL
National Weather Service Saint Louis MO
446 AM CST Wed Feb 22 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures will remain above average through Friday across most of
the area. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms from Thursday
through Friday.

There is a heightened fire danger this afternoon across parts of
central and northeast Missouri. Minimum afternoon relative humidity
values will fall to between 25 and 30 percent and southwest winds of
10-15 mph are expected. The 10-hour computed fuel moisture forecast is
slightly above criteria for heightened fire danger, but the combination
of moderate southwest winds and good mixing today should cause fuel
moisture to fall below the computed values.
