THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN AND
CENTRAL MISSOURI AS WELL AS WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE WILL BE A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TODAY AND
TONIGHT...PRIMARILY OVER NORTHERN MISSOURI. A FEW OF THE STORMS
THIS AFTERNOON AND OVERNIGHT COULD BE SEVERE WITH STRONG
WINDS...AND SOME OF THE STORMS MAY PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AS
WELL.

MAJOR FLOODING IS ONGOING ALONG THE ILLINOIS RIVER FROM LA GRANGE
LOCK AND DAM SOUTHWARD TO THE CONFLUENCE WITH THE MISSISSIPPI
RIVER.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

THE CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ON SATURDAY AND
SATURDAY NIGHT. A FEW OF THE STORMS WILL BE STRONG TO
SEVERE...WITH DAMAGING WINDS BEING THE PRIMARY SEVERE WEATHER
THREAT.  HEAVY DOWNPOURS WILL BE POSSIBLE AS WELL.

A CHANCE OF STORMS WILL CONTINUE AREA-WIDE ON SUNDAY...WITH
LESSER STORM CHANCES MONDAY AND TUESDAY PRIMARILY ALONG AND EAST
OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. A COLD FRONT WILL BRING A CHANCE OF
STORMS TO THE ENTIRE AREA AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.

HEAT INDEX READINGS OF 100 TO 105 ARE POSSIBLE FOR AREAS WEST OF
THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...WITH HEAT INDEX
VALUES OF AROUND 105 OR HIGHER EXPECTED ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA
MONDAY AND TUESDAY.

MAJOR FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ALONG PARTS OF THE ILLINOIS RIVER
FROM LA GRANGE LOCK AND DAM SOUTHWARD TO THE CONFLUENCE WITH THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER INTO THE WEEKEND.
