THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN AND
CENTRAL MISSOURI AS WELL AS WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL RISE TO AROUND 105 DEGREES FOR A FEW HOURS
THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI AND SOUTHWEST
ILLINOIS INCLUDING THE ST. LOUIS METRO AREA. A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN
EFFECT. PLEASE SEE THE ADVISORY PRODUCT FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON
AND TONIGHT ACROSS WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...WITH
A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MOST OF THE REMAINDER
OF THE AREA. THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP DURING THE
LATER HALF OF THE AFTERNOON ACROSS THE NORTHERN HALF OF MISSOURI
INTO CENTRAL ILLINOIS...AND PERSIST INTO THE EVENING. THE STORMS
ARE EXPECTED TO QUICKLY BECOME SEVERE...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH AND LARGE HAIL.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ON SUNDAY MORNING ACROSS PARTS
OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS NEXT THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
