This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern and
central Missouri as well as west central and southwest Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms are expected to redevelop this afternoon and
increase in coverage heading into the overnight hours. Some of
these thunderstorms will be severe with large hail up to the size
of golf balls, wind gusts to 70 mph and a few tornadoes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Thunderstorms will exit southern Illinois Saturday morning. A few
of these may remain severe ealy Saturday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will be needed late this afternoon and tonight.
Spotters are encouraged to report any severe weather observed to
the National Weather Service.
