This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern and
central Missouri as well as west central and southwest Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a heightened fire danger this afternoon over northeast
and central Missouri and west central Illinois because of a
combination of very low relative humidity, gusty south winds, and
dry fuels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible on Tuesday
night over central Missouri.

A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible on Wednesday
and Wednesday night...particularly over parts of southeast
Missouri and southwest Illinois. Locally heavy rainfall will also
be possible.

A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible to the south
of I-70 on Saturday and Sunday. Locally heavy rainfall will also
be possible across the area this weekend.


Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.
