CENTRAL MISSOURI AS WELL AS WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE AREA DUE TO
A PROLONGED PERIOD OF HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS. MAXIMUM HEAT
INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 105 AND 110 ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA
THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE AREA
UNTIL SUNDAY EVENING. MAXIMUM HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 100 AND
110 DEGREES ARE LIKELY ACROSS THE AREA.

A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE SATURDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. DAMAGING WIND IS THE PRIMARY THREAT.
