THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS CANCELLED THE DENSE
FOG ADVISORY.

ALTHOUGH SOME LIGHT FOG WILL PERSIST FOR THE NEXT HOUR OR SO, THE
POCKETS OF DENSE FOG REPORTED EARLIER THIS MORNING HAVE DISSIPATED.

* TIMING...AREAS OF DENSE FOG CAN BE EXPECTED OVER THE AREA
  EARLY THIS MORNING.

* VISIBILITIES...POCKETS OF DENSE FOG WILL BE DROPPING
  VISIBILITIES TO AROUND ONE-QUARTER MILE.

* IMPACTS...RAPID CHANGES IN VISIBILITY WILL CAUSE HAZARDOUS
  DRIVING CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN DENSE FOG WILL SUBSTANTIALLY
REDUCE VISIBILITIES...TO ONE-QUARTER MILE OR LESS...RESULTING IN
HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS IN SOME AREAS. MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED
TO BE ALERT FOR RAPID CHANGES IN VISIBILITY. USE CAUTION AND SLOW
DOWN...AS OBJECTS ON AND NEAR ROADWAYS WILL BE SEEN ONLY AT CLOSE
RANGE.
