...PRELIMINARY DAMAGE ASSESSMENT FOR RANDOLPH COUNTY ILLINOIS...

The survey team from the National Weather Service in St. Louis
has finished its preliminary damage assessment for the part of the
tornado track that moved across southern Randolph County in
Illinois. The tornado broke 7 power poles, snapped many trees, and
caused superficial damage to the roof of one house.

The following information is just for the track in Randolph
County:

Preliminary Rating: EF-1
Estimated Winds:  100 mph
Path Width: 700 Yards
Path Length: 3.1 Miles
