...The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a hydrologic
statement for the following rivers...


  La Moine River affecting Ripley


.This hydrologic statement is based on up to a quarter inch of rainfall
the past 24 hours and 3 to 5 inches forecast in the next 72 hours...

Safety message:  Never drive cars, trucks, or sport utility vehicles
through flooded areas.  The water may be too deep to allow for safe
passage.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The La Moine River at Ripley
* At 2PM Friday the stage was 8.3 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by Monday morning
  and crest near 26.0 feet by Thursday morning.
* At 26.0 feet... Extensive pasture flooding downstream of the gauge
along Highway 103 east of U.S. Highway 24.
