statement for the following river...


  Kaskaskia River affecting Vandalia


.This hydrologic statement is based on 0.25-0.50 inches of rainfall
over the past 24 hours and an additional 0.25-0.50 inches forecast
through this evening...


Safety message:  Never drive cars, trucks, or sport utility vehicles
through flooded areas.  The water may be too deep to allow for safe
passage.
