...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTH CENTRAL MONROE...
NORTHWESTERN ST. CLAIR AND SOUTH CENTRAL ST. LOUIS COUNTIES AND ST.
LOUIS CITY UNTIL 1115 PM CDT...

At 1032 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bella Villa, moving east at 20 mph.

Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
St. Louis, Belleville, University City, O`Fallon, East St. Louis,
Webster Groves, Fairview Heights, Clayton, Cahokia, Swansea, Shiloh,
Columbia, Richmond Heights, Maplewood, Shrewsbury, Centreville,
Freeburg, Caseyville, Washington Park and Dupo.

This includes Interstate 64 in Illinois between exits 9 and 19.

This also includes  Scott Joplin Historic Site.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
