GENEVIEVE COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out
of the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for south
central and southwestern Illinois. A Tornado Watch also remains in
effect until midnight CDT for southwestern Illinois...and
southeastern Missouri.

COUNTY...
At 617 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Ste. Genevieve, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This dangerous storm will be near...
Evansville around 625 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
Sparta and Coulterville.
