The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Fayette County in south central Illinois...

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 641 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing a tornado
  were located along a line extending from near Coffeen to near
  Woburn to Greenville to Jamestown, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* These dangerous storms will be near...
  Vandalia around 655 PM CDT.
  Ramsey and Shobonier around 700 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these tornadic storms include
Brownstown, Herrick, St. Elmo and Wrights Corner.

This also includes Ramsey Lake State Park.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Illinois between exits 61 and 76.
 Interstate 57 in Illinois near exit 135.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
