...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 70 mph possible.

* WHERE...Guadalupe Mountains of west Texas and Southeast New
  Mexico, Eddy County Plains, Van Horn and Highway 54 Corridor, and
  Eastern Culberson County.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile
  vehicles like campers, vans, and tractor trailers. Severe
  turbulence near the mountains will be hazardous for low flying
  light aircraft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.

Use caution if flying low near the mountains as severe turbulence is
possible.

Use caution when driving as blowing dust may reduce visibility.
