.Discussion...
High pressure along the eastern seaboard and over Florida will
remain in place through the weekend. Mostly dry conditions
today through early Saturday, then moisture is forecast to
increase a bit the rest of the weekend. Min RHs today 35-40 pct
across the western interior increase to around 50 pct near I-95.
Min RHs Saturday 40 pct or higher. Light early morning winds
easterly today and southeasterly Saturday become easterly around
10 mph each afternoon with the sea breeze. Winds could
periodically pick up to 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph,
especially near the coast. A few showers are possible late this
evening well inland along the sea breeze collision, then isolated
showers and lightning storms will be possible Saturday afternoon
and evening across most of the area, though confidence is low.
Widespread wetting rainfall is now forecast. Afternoon smoke
dispersion will Generally to Very Good.
Fog potential and other remarks...Patchy fog will be possible
across most of east central Florida this morning, with the highest
chances through Volusia, adjacent Lake, eastern Seminole, eastern
Orange, northeastern Osceola, and northern Brevard counties.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
