  East central Bradley County in east Tennessee...
  Northern Polk County in east Tennessee...
  Southeastern McMinn County in east Tennessee...
  South central Blount County in east Tennessee...
  Monroe County in east Tennessee...

* Until 1130 PM EDT.

* At 1037 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Etowah, or 7
  miles south of Athens, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Athens, Madisonville, Benton, Etowah, Englewood, Tellico Plains,
  Niota, Coker Creek, Violet, and Tariffville.

This includes Interstate 75 in Tennessee between mile markers 53 and
54.
