...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL CALLAHAN AND
SOUTHERN TAYLOR COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 401 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake Abilene, or near Tuscola, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Lawn, Coronados Camp, Dudley, View, Caps,
Bradshaw, Lake Abilene, Camp Tonkawa, and Ovalo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
west central Texas.
