Early evening IR and water vapor satellite imagery is showing a
dry airmass building into the Florida Peninsula in the wake of
yesterday`s cold front, with clear skies holding across the area.
Somewhat cooler and drier air is also filling into the area under
the breezy northwest winds, with lows forecast to drop into the
mid to upper 40s over the Nature Coast and 50s to low 60s farther
south.

The risk of rip currents will continue through Saturday.
Otherwise, the forecast looks on track with pleasant and sunny
weather forecast for the weekend. No major changes planned for the
evening update.

Winds and seas are continuing to subside this evening as high
pressure builds in from the northwest, so the Small Craft Advisory
is being allowed to expire. Winds will briefly increase again to
Small Craft Exercise Caution levels early Saturday morning,
mainly south of Tarpon Springs. Otherwise, high pressure will hold
through the rest of the weekend and the first half of next week.
