THE NORTHWEST AVALANCHE CENTER HAS ISSUED AN AVALANCHE WARNING...

TIMING... IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM TUESDAY JANUARY 23RD.

LOCATION... WEST SLOPES OF THE WASHINGTON CASCADES INCLUDING
SNOQUALMIE AND WHITE PASSES.

AVALANCHE DANGER... THE AVALANCHE DANGER FOR THE WARNING AREA WILL
RISE TO HIGH TUESDAY.

REASON/IMPACTS... RECENT AND FORECASTED MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW
COMBINED WITH WINDS WILL RESULT IN WIDESPREAD AVALANCHES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... VERY DANGEROUS AVALANCHE
CONDITIONS. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
AVALANCHES MAY RUN LONG DISTANCES INCLUDING ONTO VALLEY FLOORS OR
FLAT TERRAIN.
