COOLER AIRMASS AND A BRIEF INCREASE IN MOISTURE SPREADING ACROSS THE
EASTERN PLAINS IN ITS WAKE. THIS WILL BRING MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES TO
MUCH OF THIS AREA THIS AFTERNOON, WITH ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS
AND POSSIBLY A THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPING OVER THE REGION, MAINLY OVER
THE MOUNTAINS. HIGH PRESSURE WILL THEN BUILD ACROSS THE STATE BEHIND
THE COLD FRONT TONIGHT, WITH A DRIER AND WARMER AIRMASS SPREADING
ACROSS EASTERN COLORADO INTO THURSDAY. LOOKING AHEAD TO THE END OF
THE WEEK, THE REMNANTS OF HURRICANE ODILE WERE EXPECTED TO PUSH
ACROSS THE DESERT SOUTHWEST TUESDAY INTO THURSDAY, AND POSSIBLY INTO
THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY. THIS COULD
IMPACT AREA BURN SCARS, WITH AN ELEVATED THREAT FOR FLASH FLOODING
POSSIBLE. AREA TEMPERATURES WILL BE NOTICEABLY COOLER ACROSS THE
REGION TODAY, BUT WILL QUICKLY RETURN TO NEAR OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE
AVERAGE THROUGH MID WEEK.

THE FORECAST FOR PIKES PEAK, TELLER COUNTY AND THE RAMPART RANGE.
SKIES WILL BE PARTLY SUNNY THIS AFTERNOON, WITH A 20 PERCENT CHANCE OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM 39 TO 65
DEGREES. WINDS WILL BE OUT OF THE SOUTH UP TO 10 MPH.
