.HAZARDOUS SURF IS EXPECTED THROUGH THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND AS A
SOUTH SWELL FILLS IN AND PEAKS. A COMBINATION OF LARGE SURF AND
RECORD LEVEL KING TIDES THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING HOURS WILL ENHANCE WAVE RUN-UP...LIKELY FLOODING PORTIONS
OF BEACHES THAT NORMALLY REMAIN DRY OR EXPOSED.

  SHORES OF NIIHAU...KAUAI...
  OAHU...MOLOKAI...LANAI...MAUI...KAHOOLAWE AND THE BIG ISLAND...
  THEN LOWERING TO 5 TO 8 FEET SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY.

* TIMING...PEAKING TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY...THEN LOWERING
  GRADUALLY SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY.

* IMPACTS...EXPECT OCEAN WATER OCCASIONALLY SWEEPING ACROSS
  PORTIONS OF BEACHES PARTICULARLY AROUND THE EARLY EVENING HIGH
  TIDES. VERY STRONG BREAKING WAVES AND RIP CURRENTS ARE ALSO
  EXPECTED. BREAKING WAVES MAY OCCASIONALLY IMPACT HARBORS
  MAKING NAVIGATING HARBOR CHANNELS DANGEROUS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...LARGE BREAKING SURF...
SIGNIFICANT SHOREBREAK...AND RIP CURRENTS MAKE ENTERING THE WATER
