REMARKS...

JANUARY 2017 WAS ABOVE NORMAL IN TERMS OF TEMPERATURE. THE AVERAGE
TEMPERATURE OF 11.8 WAS 4.4 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE REMAINED ABOVE FREEZING THROUGH 2 STRAIGHT DAYS: JANUARY
20TH AND 21ST...WITH RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURES SET EACH DAY.
A RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WAS ALSO WET ON THE THE 22ND WITH
A MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 32 DEGREES. IT IS THE SECOND TIME THAT THE
MINIMUM TEMPERATURE REMAINED ABOVE FREEZING FOR TWO DAYS IN JANUARY
AT THIS SITE.

PRECIPITATION AND SNOWFALL WERE NEAR NORMAL. THE TOTAL PRECIPITATION
OF 0.60 INCHES WAS 0.11 INCHES BELOW NORMAL...AND THE TOTAL SNOWFALL
OF 11.2 INCHES WAS 0.8 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THE MAJORITY OF THE SNOW
FELL ON JANUARY 2ND AND 3RD WITH 9.4 INCHES MEASURED. DAILY
PRECIPITATION AND SNOWFALL RECORDS WERE BROKEN ON JANUARY 2ND.
