.SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS...
A SURFACE HIGH FAR NORTHEAST OF THE AREA WILL REMAIN NEARLY
STATIONARY THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...THEN MOVE NORTHEAST. A FRONT
WILL APPROACH THE AREA FROM THE NORTHWEST ON SUNDAY AND TRANSITION
TO A SHEAR LINE BY MONDAY. A NEW AND STRONG HIGH WILL BUILD
NORTHWEST OF THE AREA SUNDAY AND MONDAY...REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY
THROUGH WEDNESDAY...AND THEN WEAKEN RAPIDLY ON THURSDAY. THE NEW
HIGH WILL PRODUCE NEAR-GALE FORCE TRADE WINDS FROM LATE MONDAY
THROUGH WEDNESDAY WHILE ALSO PUSHING THE SHEAR LINE OVER THE
ISLANDS. A LARGE WEST-NORTHWEST SWELL WILL BUILD SUNDAY AND PEAK
SUNDAY NIGHT.
