...HEAVY RAIN FORECAST AS REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM CINTY MOVE
THROUGH THE REGION...

.The combination of Tropical Storm Cindy`s remnants and an
incoming cold front will lead to the possibility of locally heavy
rain and flooding first over southern Indiana this morning and
then across the rest central Kentucky this afternoon and evening.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* South Central Indiana

* Through late tonight

* A cold front coming in from the northwest will join forces
  with the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy to produce
  widespread rain, possibly heavy.

* Heavy rainfall may impact the morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* All of Central Kentucky

* From 11 AM EDT /10 AM CDT/ this morning through Saturday
  morning

* A cold front coming in from the northwest will join forces
  with the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy to produce
  widespread rain, possibly heavy.

* The heaviest of the rainfall is expected during the afternoon
  hours today and may cause trouble with rush hour traffic.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
