...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM CDT FOR
BANDERA COUNTY...

AT 902 AM CDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED THAT SEVERAL ROADS IN
BANDERA COUNTY HAVE WATER FLOWING OVER THEM.  SOME LOW WATER
CROSSING ARE FLOODED AFTER PORTIONS OF THE COUNTY RECEIVED 1 TO 3
INCHES OF RAIN THIS MORNING. CREEKS AND STREAMS ARE RUNNING HIGH AND
THE THREAT FOR HAZARDOUS DRIVING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 1015 AM.
FLASH FLOODING WILL CONTINUE...TURN AROUND DONT DROWN.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
MEDINA...BANDERA...TARPLEY...VANDERPOOL...PIPE CREEK...LOST MAPLES STATE
PARK...BANDERA FALLS AND LAKEHILLS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

STAY AWAY OR BE SWEPT AWAY. RIVER BANKS AND CULVERTS CAN BECOME
UNSTABLE AND UNSAFE.

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS FLOODED
ROADS. FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE.
