...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT FOR
EFFINGHAM COUNTY...

AT 741 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT THE INTESE RAINFALL
THAT PRODUCED FLASH FLOODING OVER PARTS OF EFFINGHAM COUNTY THIS
AFTERNOON HAS ENDED...HOWEVER...THE THREAT FOR FLASH FLOODING WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH THE EVENING. RAINFALL TOTALED FROM 2 TO LOCALLY
3 INCHES OVER PARTS OF THE COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON...AND THAT IS
IN ADDITION TO THE RAINFALL RECEIVED OVER THE AREA DURING THE
PAST COUPLE OF DAYS.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
EFFINGHAM...ALTAMONT...TEUTOPOLIS...WATSON...DIETERICH...BEECHER
CITY...EDGEWOOD...SHUMWAY...MONTROSE...MOCCASIN...MASON...LAKE
SARA...ELLIOTSTOWN...HEARTVILLE...EFFINGHAM COUNTY AIRPORT AND
ALTAMONT RESERVOIR.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 INTERSTATE 57 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 144 AND 166.
 INTERSTATE 70 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 80 AND 104.
