* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN ST. JOHNS COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN FLORIDA...
  SOUTHEASTERN DUVAL COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN FLORIDA...

* UNTIL 730 AM EDT

* AT 604 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING. OVERFLOWING POOR
  DRAINAGE AREAS WILL RESULT IN MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA.
  UP TO ONE INCH OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  PONTE VEDRA BEACH...UNF...FRUIT COVE...PALM
  VALLEY...BAYARD...BAYMEADOWS...SAWGRASS...NOCATEE...DURBIN AND
  GUANA RIVER STATE PARK.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF AROUND AN INCH IS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA.
THIS ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL MAKE MINOR FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE PONDING OF WATER IN
URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER
POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL
ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES.
